myrooms.design ("myrooms," "we," "us") is a home-design platform where you plan a room, source the products, build a shoppable room card, and share it. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what the product needs to work.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your name and profile photo from your Google account.
- Profile — the public handle, display name, bio, and avatar you choose.
- Content you upload — room photos, product images, product names, prices, source links, and affiliate links you add to your rooms.
- Payment details — if you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment card is collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
- Usage events — actions such as room views, product clicks, saves, and forks, used to power your creator analytics and to operate the service.
- Device & session data — basic technical information (such as browser type and a session token stored in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in).
How we use your information
- To provide the service — create your account, save your rooms, publish your shoppable cards, and process subscriptions.
- To show you and other creators analytics (views, clicks, saves, forks) on published, public rooms.
- To remove product-image backgrounds and prepare images for placement.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and important service changes.
- To maintain, secure, debug, and improve the platform, and to prevent abuse.
Service providers we share with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with providers that help us run myrooms.design:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (hosts your account, rooms, and uploaded images).
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Google — optional "Sign in with Google" authentication.
- fal.ai — automated background removal for product images you add.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and security.
- Google Analytics — aggregate, privacy-respecting website analytics that help us understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited). We do not use it for advertising or ad targeting.
Each processes data only as needed to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the platform.
What's public
When you publish a room and set it public, its contents — photos, product placements, your display name, and handle — are visible to anyone and may appear on Explore and public profile pages. Rooms you keep private are not shown publicly. You control what you publish.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember lightweight preferences. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure aggregate site usage; we do not use advertising or ad-targeting trackers. Our providers (such as Stripe) may also set their own cookies as part of secure payment processing.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove your personal information and content within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
Your rights & choices
- Access, correct, or update your profile and content at any time from your account.
- Request a copy of your data, or request deletion of your account and data.
- Unpublish or delete individual rooms to remove them from public view.
- Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, portability, correction, deletion, and to object to certain processing.

Children
myrooms.design is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
International users
We operate from the United States and may process and store your information there. By using the service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection laws than your own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
